What is construction management? Construction management is overseeing the processes required to complete construction of your car wash and includes the following:
Selection of an Architect and Civil Engineer
We have many resources for architects and engineers or we can work with a firm that you recommend.
Building Design
Designing a car wash that expresses your business plans while maintaining a high quality and affordable building project.
Site Planning
Engineering the property to operate at its’ greatest efficiency, utilizing road frontage for exposure and traffic flow for ease of use for your customers.
Zoning Approval
Applying to and working with the local municipalities and county offices to obtain approval to construct your car wash.
Preliminary Construction Cost
Accumulating construction cost based on building design concept, site planning and zoning requirements.
Construction Drawings
Final architectural drawings based on design concept, site planning, zoning requirements and pre-construction cost that will be used for accumulating final construction cost, use for construction and permit approval.
Permitting
Submitting applications to acquire soil erosion permit, building permit, inspections, etc. that will be required for construction of the car wash.
Scheduling
Organizing a plan and timeline for completing the project and informing subcontractors when their services will be needed.
Construction
Managing and supervising the building of the carwash. Scheduling subcontractors work and monitoring quality of work and making sure the project gets done on time.
Equipment Installation
Overseeing the installation of the carwash equipment. Verifying proper installation of the car wash equipment to insure the equipment produces the highest quality car washing product around.
Carwash Operation Training
Our car wash equipment installers and staff will train you and your employees on how to properly operate and maintain your carwash equipment.
Certificate of Occupancy
The final step before opening your business. We will schedule all the final inspections and approvals needed to allow your business to open. Upon completion of these inspections we will hand over the keys and you will be in the business of washing cars.
Chemical Testing
Carwash Cleaning Products Testing
Turn-Key offers chemical testing and delivery equipment inspections for all of our chemical customers. Our Quality Assurance Technician will visit your carwash every two weeks to perform inspections on all delivery equipment from Hydrominders to soap application tips. The Technician will check water quality and measure water softness for maximum cleansing and TDS levels. We will even perform, at the customer’s request, volumetrics and cost analysis. A monthly report will be given to all of our chemical customers, showing the dates inspections were performed along with any service calls. All of these services are available free of charge to our chemical customers. Equipment Repair
Repair/ Maintenance
Turn-Key has a well-trained staff of service technicians to help you with all of your repair needs. Our staff specializes in diagnosing problems and establishing the best and most economical way to fix any issue you may have with your equipment.
Our trained staff will quickly determine what the problem is and show you what needs to be done to fix it. If we don’t have the part on our truck we will call our parts department to determine when the part will be available and determine how much time it will take to install those parts and get your wash back up and running.
Preventative Maintenance
Turn-Key can help you maintain the quality of your carwash. We offer single, monthly and seasonal inspections of your equipment and give you a detailed report of individual inspections to equipment and functions along with statistical analysis and resolution for correcting any issues found during the inspection.
Equipment
Turn-Key services many equipment manufacturers including Jim Coleman Company, Tommy Carwash Systems, AVW Equipment, Belanger, Hanna, Hydrospray, and many others. We also service entrance controllers like Hamilton Goldline, Jim Coleman Entry Wizards and Swipe-n-Clean.
Parts
We carry a large inventory of parts for Jim Coleman Company, Hanna, AVW, Tommy and Hydrospray including pumps, motors, chain, dollies, drive motors, sprockets and more. We also carry many universal parts such as hydrominders, Dema valves, CAT pump valves and seals, etc.
Services
Turn-Key offers welding and conveyor repair. Each of our service trucks carries a welder, welding supplies, and miscellaneous steel to help you with emergency repairs. We can weld steel as well as stainless steel. We also can make high pressure hoses in any length for 3/8”, 1/2”, and 3/4” diameter hoses. Call us and give us the overall length of the hose, hose diameter, and the type of fitting you need crimped on the ends and we’ll customize it for you and deliver* or ship it that day.

Turn-Key can assist you in the type of equipment layout that best suits your budget as well as ensuring your customers get the great quality wash they expect.
Our team of professionals will sit down and show you how to give your wash the best results possible. They will explain how each piece of equipment works and how it will benefit your carwash results. They will supply equipment specifications along with proper dimensions of where the equipment should be placed in the carwash tunnel and where supporting equipment is to be placed in the mechanical room.
Turn-Key professionals will work with equipment manufacturers to produce job-specific drawings for your project. Drawings that will aid in the construction of your carwash building and help you save money.
